Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts Scholarship
Need and/or merit based
These Scholarships are available to a member in good standing of a Grand Lodge of Massachusetts constituent Lodge or a child, step-child, grandchild or step-grandchild of Master Masons who are members of a Grand Lodge of Massachusetts constituent Lodge. Scholarship awards are based primarily on academic achievement, financial need and broad participation in community and school activities.
Applications must be submitted on a Current Grand Lodge of Massachusetts Scholarship Form which you can get by contacting the Lodge Secretary or by going to the Grand Lodge Application form. The absolute deadline for these submittals to Grand Lodge is March 1st.
Philanthropic Lodge Scholarship Fund
Named for Worshipful James T. Martin, Jr., Worshipful Wayne D. Martin Sr., and Brother Emerson F. Brown.
Need and/or merit based
These scholarships are open to any member or child, step-child, or grandchild of a member (living or deceased) of Philanthropic Lodge F& AM. Candidates for this scholarship must meet the afore mentioned criteria and wish to pursue undergraduate higher education. This award will be granted on the basis of academic achievement, leadership ability, good citizenship, community service and financial need. The recipients will be chosen by the Philanthropic Lodge Scholarship Committee.
Applications must be submitted on an official scholarship form and must indicate a member of Philanthropic Lodge and the student’s relation to the member. These forms are available at Philanthropic Lodge’s web site (www.marbleheadmasons.org) or a form from student’s guidance office. When applications are submitted, they should be accompanied by a letter outlining the criteria to be considered in the basis of grant section as listed on the application form. Applications must be submitted each year.

Donald H. & Helen D. Peach Scholarship
Need and/or merit based
This scholarship is available to worthy graduating students (or graduates) of Marblehead High School who are applying for admission for undergraduate study at Salem State University. Awarding for grants will be based on financial need, demonstrated citizenship and leadership qualities. No Masonic affiliation is necessary.
Applications must be submitted on an official scholarship form. These forms are available at Philanthropic Lodge’s web site or a form from student’s guidance office. When applications are submitted, they should be accompanied by a letter outlining the criteria to be considered in the basis of grant section as listed on the application form. The recipients will be chosen by the Philanthropic Lodge Scholarship Committee.
